Hello! My name is Megan (she/her & they/them), and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Texas. My professional and lived experience inspires my passion for specializing in queer, trans, and non-binary young adults with various topics related to ADHD, autism, trauma, and dissociation.

It can be an overwhelming process finding a good-fitting therapist. I hope to offer a space where you feel safe, seen, and supported exactly as you are.

My approach to therapy is primarily client centered, trauma informed, relational, and collaborative. I believe that therapy moves at your pace. It’s okay to take things slow and not feel ready to talk about everything right away. Sessions that do not feel “productive” in the traditional sense often are. Sometimes healing looks like infodumping about your latest hyperfixation, learning about complicated topics like dissociation, or simply building confidence so that you feel empowered to decide what's best for you both inside and outside therapy.

In session, you will notice that I’m a big fidgeter, and I have a box of fidgets to play with during in-person sessions. My goal is to create a therapeutic experience that feels comfortable and accessible, where you're ready to explore your experiences and build a stronger connection to yourself, what brings you joy, and the relationships that matter most to you.

Outside of therapy, I enjoy spending time with friends and family, going on road trips, improving my horseback riding skills, taking nature walks with my dog, and watching YouTube.

If you are looking for a therapist who will meet you where you are, honor your pace, and celebrate all the parts of you, I would be honored to walk alongside you on your journey.
