We offer free 30 minute video consultations to make sure we are a good fit before starting services. This is an opportunity for you to make sure that I am the person to best help you.

Each of our providers set their own prices which can be found out their About Us profile. Each provider also has a limited number of slots for sliding scale that you can ask about as well.

What do you mean by “social justice informed, affirming care”?

This means that our providers try our best to always be aware of current social situations and of the systemic problems playing a part in our clients’ lives. For us, this means not only being aware of these situations in a general sense, but also following research from leaders within historically underserved communities such as BIPOC as well as gender and sexual diverse populations.

Do you offer online services?

We offer both in-person and online sessions. All of our sessions are schedule through Simple Practice and online sessions are conducted through the Simple Practice client portal.

Do you accept insurance?

What is your background in your specialties?

Our providers have lived experience within marginalized communities and have actively engaged with the queer, kink, and ethical non-monogamous communities for over 10 years. We have combined experience in small group classes on consent, boundary negation, communication with multiple partners, as well as varies types of kink activities. Each of our providers also engages in continuing education classes in order to better serve our communities.

In addition, Garreth was part of the research team that helped to develop the kink guidelines for clinical professional. You can find out more about this project at https://www.kinkguidelines.com/

What is Peer Counseling?

Peer counseling is a process of being helped by someone who have already encountered similar problems. Peer counselors are not licensed mental health professionals but do have training in helping people explore and overcome problems.

How long does does this take?

While we appreciate that many people want change now, it can take time to change the stories that have already been written. Think of this like the editing process for a new book or movie. During this process we may be able to make a few easy changes that everyone can agree to, but meaningful change to the story will often take weeks or months of time. Ultimately, we believe that each client is responsible for their own change and as such has the power to stop services whenever they want. We do request time to talk to you when you choose to stop services just to make sure you are safe both mentally and physically.
