We offer free 30-minute video consultations to make sure we are a good fit before starting services. This is an opportunity for you to make sure that I am the person to best help you.
Each of our providers sets their own prices, which can be found on their profile, with some providers also including a limited number of slots for a sliding scale that you can ask about as well.
-
This means that our providers try their best to always be aware of current social situations and of the systemic problems playing a part in our clients’ lives. For us, this means not only being aware of these situations in a general sense, but also following research from leaders within historically underserved communities such as BIPOC, as well as gender and sexual diverse populations.

We have a limited number of practitioners who are paneled with insurance. Check your therapist’s profile before booking, or feel free to reach out for more information.
We utilize 3rd party billers (specifically Alma and Headway). Clients wishing to use their insurance through these companies will need to create profiles for billing, with our assistance. All of our therapists also offer superbills (see below), which help you get reimbursed from your insurance plan, regardless of whether we are in network or not.
-
A superbill is a detailed receipt for your therapy sessions that includes all the information your insurance needs, such as diagnosis codes, service codes, and session dates. If your insurance plan offers out-of-network benefits, you can submit the superbill to them, and they may reimburse you for part of what you’ve paid.
It can be especially helpful if you’re paying out of pocket, because it gives you the chance to get some of that money back directly from your insurance company.

Peer Counseling is a process of being helped by someone who has already encountered similar problems. Peer Counselors are not licensed mental health professionals, but do have training in helping people explore and overcome problems.
-
Change is something many people want right away, but it often takes time to rewrite the stories we’ve been carrying for years. Think of therapy like the editing process for a book or movie - some small changes can happen quickly, but deeper, more meaningful shifts usually take weeks or months.
Ultimately, you are in control of your therapy. You have the right to stop services at any time. If you decide to pause or end therapy, we simply ask for a conversation first so we can make sure you’re leaving in a way that feels safe and supportive for your mental and physical well-being.

We offer both!

Our providers have lived experience within marginalized communities and have actively engaged with the queer, kink, and ethical non-monogamous communities for over 10 years. We have combined experience in small group classes on consent, boundary negotiation, communication with multiple partners, as well as various types of kink activities. Each of our providers also engages in continuing education classes in order to better serve our communities.
In addition, Garreth was part of the research team that helped to develop the kink guidelines for clinical professionals. You can find out more about this project at: https://www.kinkguidelines.com/
