Adult Mental Health Services

LGBTQIA+ / Queer-Affirming

We know firsthand how difficult it can be to find affirming, nonjudgemental health care as a queer adult, especially in a state like Texas. With us, you’ll find a safe environment where you can explore your identity, your expression, your relationships, and anything else which you’d like to better understand.

Ethical Nonmonogamy (ENM)

Trying to manage our own feelings is tough enough, adding meaningful connections with other people who can’t read our mind makes things even harder sometimes. Whether you have one partner or twelve, let us help you develop and maintain your boundaries while also emotionally processing your life without adding more stress to your system.

Kink

BDSM has experienced a social coming out over the last decade with more people being exposed to ideas of consensual power exchange, sensual role-play,  sadomasochistic behaviors. For folks looking for help though, having someone who’s understanding extends beyond 50 Shade of Gray (and why that series is problematic) is important. With over 10 years of involvement in various kink communities, and being a educator and advocate within those communities, our professionals offer a welcoming place for people to talk about their sexual curiosities and discover their needs, wants, and desires.

Neuroqueer-Affirming

Finding therapy as a neurodivergent adult can be hard - traditional therapy often pathologizes concerns like executive dysfunction and emotional dysregulation, which doesn’t help neurodivergent adults actually contend with these issues in their day-to-day life. Our neurodivergent therapists will guide you through unlearning internalized stigma surrounding the difficulties of being neurodivergent in a neurotypical world, and work on finding individualized solutions to thrive, rather than survive.

Personality Disorders

Often times, a diagnosis tied to a personality disorder can be stigmatized. Our goal with treating personality disorders lie in holistic approaches that aid in understanding your diagnosis does not define you. Rather that it is a part of you that shapes your lived experiences. Our therapists that work with personality disorders will guide you along your journey and share tools with you that will help you manage symptoms you may experience.

Sexual Education

Parents often struggle to talk to their children about sex, but with some coaching we can develop an approach that is inclusive, comprehensive, and compassionate. For those adults who still have questions about sexual behaviors, having a place to ask questions or learn how to talk to their partners can strengthen relationships and clear up any remaining confusion.
