Hey there!

I'm a neuroqueer therapist who's most passionate about working with queer and neuroqueer individuals and relationships. I work with most neurotypes under the neurodivergent umbrella, and do my best work with adult-diagnosed and self-diagnosed neuroqueer folks who feel as though they need a therapist with lived experience who can understand them and help them find tangible ways of coping, healing, and thriving. My clinician expertise includes autism, ADHD, OCD, bipolar, disability, accessibility, mixed-neurotype relationships, poly dynamics, kink, trauma, shame, and the overly self-aware.

My approach to therapy is first and foremost collaborative and affirming. I pull from queer and narrative theories, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and somatic modalities, and I am EMDR-trained. I believe that you are the expert in your life and that people are not problems - the problem is the problem and together we can find effective ways of contending with it.

Outside of client work, I am active in consultation groups and legislative advocacy for the queer communities in Texas because I recognize that therapy is always political, especially for my communities and especially in a red state. When I’m not working, I enjoy nature (I live in the country outside DFW and love bird-watching from my balcony), reading (a little bit of every genre), writing book reviews, art journaling, and telling my two fluffy cats how handsome they are.
